Monthly Community Skill Shares

Every month beginning the start of January 2015 We are providing community workshops based on the 12 principlesof Permaculture. Saturday January 12th - 'Observe & Interact' & Clothes Swish Permaculture Activist Suzanne Lewis spoke about the principle 'Observe & Interact'. She brought tools such as the Sunrise & Sunset navigator, explained how to observe your planting space and take advice on planting. We also invited the local community to bring secondhand clothes to Swish (swap around). Much to everyones delight, we manage to clear out our cupboards for the New Year ands also gained a new item or two! The surplus was then delivered to local charity shops in Lincoln. Subjects ranged from Gardening, Permaculture to Art & Design, to Poetry Seed Swap Folk brought seeds that they'd collected themselves and shop bought seeds in sachet to share. Saturday March 7th - 'Obtain a yield' People are invited to bring their seeds to plant in compost and seed trays.
